Name: Natalie McDonald
Nicknames (and who is likely to use them): People tend to call her Nat when they don't feel like saying Natalie, but that's about it.

Birthday: September 12, 1982
Place of Residence (an address in Hogsmeade unless something else has been decided with the mods): She's living in the shack for right now. Eventually she will move into her own place in town.

Dress Style (remember that most wizards would wear robes, and that there is a war going on which might effect supplies): She's been living as a muggle for the past six years of her life, so she would prefer to dress like one...but in the beginning of her time in Hogsmeade, she'll have to depend on the kindness of others, as far as clothing goes, so she'll end up wearing whatever someone else gives her to wear.
Things they would always carry with them (optional): She came into town with nothing, so until she gets more established in game, she won't be carrying anything.

Health

Disabilities/Handicaps: In late September, she was visiting London with muggle friends when the death eaters attacked. During the chaos, Natalie's two friends were separated from her and killed, and she was hit in the head by some rubble, resulting in significant brain trauma. This trauma caused her to go into a coma, and as a result of being in a coma for over a month, Natalie will suffer from temporary amnesia. She will be unable to remember anything from her past for a while, and she will also have to relearn some basic motor skills.
Health in general – both mental and physical: Her injuries from the attack have been healed, so physically she's fine. She's quite frightened that she will never regain her memory again, so that'll depress her a bit until she starts remembering her life.
Other: The sky is blue.

Personality

First Impression (others have of you): When she's in her normal state, Natalie is very likable. People would be able to see that she's a happy and bubbly person, and maybe just a little bit of a ditz. In her post-comatose state, however, people would likely be able to see how scared she is and that's she's depressed.
General Behaviour: She has an out-going and bubbly personality, and is always willing to make a new friend or reconnect with an old one. Even though she's rather smart, she can also be rather ditzy. Sometimes it will take her a moment to get a joke that others get immediately, but she takes it in stride, laughing off her ditziness. She also knows how cute she is and uses it to her advantage when she feels like she needs to do so. She does have occasional moments of anger and annoyance, but they come few and far between and don't last all that long anyway.
Strengths: She's a rather good cook and tends to experiment with the food she makes, often taking out certain ingredients or adding other elements to get something entirely different, but incredibly good. Very rarely does she make something that tastes utterly disgusting, and if she does, she knows how to mess around with the recipe to make it taste better.
Weaknesses: She's always been a little clumsy, which never bodes well in the kitchen, and she's got burn scars on her arms to prove it. She is also a little forgetful, which is a side-effect of the coma.
Habits: She bites on her nails or her lips when she's nervous, scared, or upset.
Enjoys: She enjoys cooking, reading, writing, and being with friends.
Dislikes: Memory loss and performing magic

Spouse/partner (if applicable): No spouse/partner.
Parents: Daniel and Katy McDonald. They're both professors at the University of Plymouth; Daniel teaches maths while Katy teaches literature. They were told by muggle authorities that Natalie's body was never recovered in the debris of the attack on London and believed to be dead, but her parents hope for a chance that she's still alive somewhere.

Bloodline: Muggle-born
Family History: Natalie's parents would home-school her during her holidays from Hogwarts, teaching her the subjects that she would have learned had she gone to muggle school. Her parents are proud of Natalie's achievements, but while she was in Hogwarts, they rather hoped she would change her mind about magic and return to muggle school. Eventually, she did.

Social/Romantic/Sexual

Close Friendships: She was friends with Dennis Creevey back at Hogwarts, but she wouldn't ever say that they were close friends. She knows Colin by proxy. When she left the wizarding world, she basically lost touch with everyone she'd been friends with.
Known Enemies: She's never really had enemies. She's had academic rivals, but they were always muggles.
Sexual Preference: She is attracted to both sexes, and has been with both, but if pressed she'd let you know she tends to like females a little bit more...of course, that doesn't mean she wouldn't jump a good-looking man if given the chance.
Turn Ons: A nice smile, soft lips, nice hands.
Turn Offs: Bad teeth, facial hair, people who don't take care of themselves.
Past Relationships: She kissed Dennis on a dare once, but that's it as far as relationships in the wizarding world goes. In the muggle world, she's racked up a pretty good list of people from both sexes, but there hasn't been anything serious.
What they think about sex and love: She loves sex. She's never felt love, but really hopes that someday that will change.
Other: She was never attracted to Colin or anything, but she loved playing with his hair when she saw him, always telling him how soft it looked.

Magical

Wand Type: 12 inches, oak, dragon's heart-string. It's sitting inside the box it came in on a shelf in her closet at her parents' home.
Magical talents: She did really well with the theory aspect of magic, and therefore excelled in classes like History of Magic and Muggle Studies.
Magical weaknesses/aversions (what your character can't or won't do): She's never been so great at the practical side of magic, so she sucked at basically anything that involved wands or spells. She never failed her courses, but she never did all that well in them, either.
First sign of magic – when and what: She was five and accidentally transfigured her newborn puppy into a fuzzy piece of cardboard, which her father mistook for mold. He ended up throwing the piece of cardboard away. It was probably this incident that kept Natalie from wanting to perform much magic later on in life.
Boggart: Back at Hogwarts , she would have seen a large dog (which stemmed from her fear that the ghost of her fuzzy cardboard puppy wanted to kill her because she had accidentally killed it). Now, though, she would see a large, blank void (which is representative of her fear that she will never regain her memory).

Other: She went back to muggle school after Hogwarts, took her A-levels, and ended up attending and graduating from the University of Edinburgh, having studied English Literature. During a summer holiday from university, Natalie enrolled in a program at the London Culinary Institute, and upon completion, she received Le Grande Diplome, which encompassed a wide variety of the culinary arts.

Current Occupation: Natalie has not had a real job as of yet, having just recently graduated from university. Up until her coma, she spent most of her time freelancing articles for her town's local newspaper and cooking for her family.

Monetary Situation: Natalie's parents are decently well-off, but as she cannot remember them, their money is of no use to her. Having been in a coma for over a month, she's been staying in the shack. However, she does not have a home to go to when she is released from the hospital, nor does she have any money to purchase one.
